Ways to Help

About Helen Brady

Helen Brady is a lifelong resident of Massachusetts. She is the youngest of seven children and grew up in South Weymouth. Her parents Jim and Helen Hoey raised their children with traditional Irish Catholic values. Having served his country, Helen’s father instilled a Patriotic spirit that has shaped her life personally and professionally.

Helen attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she met her husband of 25 years, Bob Brady from Woburn. Bob is a middle school teacher at Saint Patricks in Roxbury. Helen and Bob have lived in Concord for the past 13 years with their four children.

Helen and her family love to watch the Patriots together from the sidelines at Gillette or together around the TV. Helen also enjoys bicycling and participates annually in Best Buddies and Pan Mass Challenge fundraising rides.

Commitment to Community

Helen has a deep-rooted interest in high quality education. She is on the Steering Committee for Women For UMASS. She is very active in her local parish and has served in various capacities in her community supporting Concord Conservatory, Concord Police Department, the Board of Registrars, Concord-Carlisle Community Chest, and the Concord Republican Town Committee.

Helen has been a thirty year employee at the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO) and was recently promoted to the position of Business Manager of the Boston Pops. Helen's successful career at the BSO & Pops is a tribute to her work ethic, her determination to do things the right way, and her ability to get along with all types of people.
